May God’s wondrous light shine through us all,
About me…
I was born and raised in
To round our family off, we have two dogs, a ninety-pound black lab named Tippy, a five-pound black and tan yorki-poo named Tucker, a sixteen-year-old brown tabby cat we affectionately call Columbo, a guinea pig that goes by the name of Smudge, two hamsters, Pandora and Candy Stripe who spin their wheels constantly, and two tanks full of fish whose water is in constant need of maintenance. So you can see that spare time is a rarity in our busy home.
Before taking up writing full-time, I graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics and worked as a systems analyst for years. You might ask how a mathie turned to writing Christian romance novels? Well, the truth is, I believe my first attempt at writing a novel was actually inspired from above to be a therapeutic healing process for me. It did heal a debilitating fear I had, and also created a deep desire in me to learn how to write compelling, inspirational fiction. It is both a gift and a challenge that I take very seriously and I marvel at how it has changed my life.
When I'm not busy being a mom, wife, daughter, sister, pet owner and writer, I'm a Sunday school teacher for the grades six to eight population of our small country church. I enjoy gardening and sewing when time permits.
